"if you have a job at a customer site with oncall be ready to work 60+ hours a week"

"none my managers were fine and did not try to micromanage the techs they let us do what needed to be done."

"Applied Materials used to be the place to work, but has become a horrible nightmare."

What do you like about working at Applied Materials?

"The money was pretty good, and I had a lot of opportunity to learn a lot about semiconductors, the processes and the mechanics of developing them."

"Don't."

What don't you like about working at Applied Materials?

"The current CEO doesn't care about the employees, and creates cuts in benefits and pay while increasing his own. Not a good situation anymore."

"Start becoming an innovator again. Take care of your employees."

"Don't even think about it, no future here...Unless they decided to replace some head person"

"1. Both CEO and some country manager are not really focusing on their own business. The only thing they care about is how to transfer money from company to their own pocket.2. Most of the colleague in TWN are not welling to co-work with others. They are trying to hide their own tech. and is hoping you to failed.And mostly they are only care about how to earn attention in front of their manager."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Don't treat investor as fool, we knew what you are playing now. And some of the manager, don't think that no one in head quarter knows what are you thinking about. You people have really good products, but you treat your own business and customer and field as fool.."

What do you like about working at Bell & Howell?

"Used to be a great company when it was Bell & Howell. After merger it went to down hill big time. Equipment quality went down and customer satisfaction dropped."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Don't waste your time."

What don't you like about working at Bell & Howell?

"Being fired after 20 years of service for being off work 3 days with the flu. I had 32 hours of sick time time left. I called in sick and was fired upon my return to work for falsifying my time card. That's after manager had my 20 year award mantel clock sent to his house. Then saying it never arrived at his house when I had I FedEx receipt showing it was delivered to his house. I think he still works for them!!!"

"They have to get some management first."
