"Look elsewhere or be prepared for lots of stress"
What don't you like about working at Diebold?
"way too much overtime, no time for family life, intensely micro managed, contradictory goals that make it impossible to meet, co-workers are very nice, management can be quite hostile due to the fact that upper management puts them under the same unrealistic gun."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"remember what it was like when you where in the field, just because mapquest says you can get there in 30 minutes doesn't mean traffic will cooperate."

"ADIC was acquired by Quantum corp and I was fired wtihout cause."

"To follow your ethical standard and not allow slander and libel to rule the day"

What do you like about working at Schlumberger?
"There was a wonderful mix of people from all over the world. Many talented and nice individuals thrived in this company. The compensation was always fair. The work was exciting and challenging. I loved everything around this company. The benefits were the best as well. They train you extensively for the job you will have. You are well prepared for your job. There is a structured training/work plan in place so that you will have some career advancement."

"Do your best to get hired! This is the place to be."
What don't you like about working at Schlumberger?
"Interacting with customers can be stressful at times. The customers are under a ton of pressure to produce product and they in turn put pressure on you to get equipment running. It is a high pressure business at times and you could end up face to face with the VP of the customer company. Parts are difficult to get after hours to complete your work at customer sites."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"NONE. They were wonderful and did all they could to provide training and help whenever necessary."

"Be truthful and know your field of expertise. You also have to dress for success."

"When I left the company the pay rate was not comparable to industry standards otherwise great company to work for."

"Management needs to have better communication practices."

"I met some of the people who do the grueling interview process--don't try to fluff yourself up, but just be honest about your limitations, and they will respect you."
