"I've worked for Cummins since 2015 and have found the company to be a leader in innovation in the automotive field with a focus on engine systems. It is a great place to work with a strong focus on ethics and values."
"I have been with company 20+ years. The company best described as highly ethical and customer oriented company."
"I worked for Cummins Inc for 25 years and feel its a good company to work for. Good learning opportunities and work life balance."
"Good to work at and grow professionally."
"Great company with decent pay and good work life balance. Management likes layoffs every 4 years and blames the cyclic nature of the business. They have been doing it for the last 100 years as the company is a century old now. Apart from that, they are headquartered in Columbus, IN which is in the middle of nowhere and they make you come here where there is no other company except for Cummins"
"I've worked for Cummins Inc. sense 2006 and have always found them to be diverse, active and involved in their global communities. Cummins puts a major focus on treatment of others in the workplace resulting in a positive work environment. I enjoyed my tenure with Cummins and highly recommend them to anyone looking for an active career in the Heavy Truck Industry."
"After 15 years at CMI they are a fine company for work life balance and respect diversity. They are a bit old fashioned in the manufacturing space and slow to change course. A cyclical company with high and low waves every 3 to 4 years resulting in aggressive hires then large layoffs. Senior Leaders seem to shift roles constantly with little new talent added to their ranks."
"Overall, Cummins was a great place to work. The work-life balance wand environment was great. Lots of opportunities to move around in the company as well."
"ok to work, they have no consistency"
"I've worked for Cummins for about 1 year now. I used to work for a company that got acquired by Cummins in 2018. Cummins is a great place to work in the automotive industry, they show a lot of care for the employees, even after being a huge company. They have good benefits, but nothing compared to tech companies. Their salary falls short when compared to the tech companies and the software engineering salaries in the Bay Area."
"I am unable to provide a full review at this time."
"Cummins is the best company to work"
"I have worked in Cummins since 2008 and have found it to be a good employer except that the leadership of the company needs to start respecting their employees a lot more. There are better ways of managing resources so that employees don't get affected due to the cyclical nature of the business."
"I have worked for Cummins for 8 years and they have a good set of core values. It has been a struggle at times because resources kept getting cut despite a robust business plan. I have had the benefit of many leadership trainings and have taken advantage of them to help develop my soft skills."
"I have worked with Cummins inc for an over year now and this company is a great place to work with good work life balance and the employees are pretty much easy going and the work is pressure less. The only concern here is the weather as the north east part of the USA gets lot of snow which makes life really difficult and this is one of the reason I am looking out for the opportunities. Except this every aspect of this company remains outstanding."
