"I loved the opportunity to design and execute this application freely, no micro management. I had the freedom to specify the platform - ASP.NET MVC, the language - C# and the database - SQL and the hosting (Cloud). Agile process and real user testing made this application fast, direct and increasingly intuitive.Hated nothing but the lack of revenue at the end."

"Since we do consumer product, I really like working on big data and scalable technologies. We do a lot of web scraping and collect and analyze data from different source, so our system is pretty much as prototype of Matrix. I do not like only that most investors are stupid and just copy each other (mostly Samsung attitude), it prevents us growing fast."

What do you like about working at Marketecture?
"There is certainly a relaxed feeling at Marketecture, but at the end of the day, people have done serious work. It's an awesome balance between working hard and playing hard, which is almost a cliche for tech companies nowadays."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Be yourself, be personable. Management has learned that they really look for people that can adopt the company's values and vision. Someone who will be happy and fit in is more valuable than an impressive resume."
What don't you like about working at Marketecture?
"Recent growth has been huge, and as a result we are getting a little cramped in our office. Also a consequence of that is sometimes our work loads are a little too intense to squeeze in too many foosball tournaments and we haven't had a harlem shake in the office for a couple of months."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Keep the open communication and the open door policy, it helps level out the office. Keep making it a fun place to be, since this is where I am for most of my waking hours."

"A lot of great technology projects and all of the companies revenue was thruogh the Internet."

"There is not a stock equity plan at this company."

"Some things about the business we were in were not the best."

"Need to be more agressive to go after new ideas."

"I co founded it. This statement says more than anything I have written previously."

"The company has been dissolved and I believe it will take a few more years before I will ever do this again. However, it is part of me now, it is my experience. I have grown a lot since then."
What don't you like about working at Edarra?
"I had no limit to where the company would led me. And it felt great. The downfall was the cashflow."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Be like water. Listen. The devil is in the details. A strong group does not necessarily mean to have the most talented ones. What matters is the implementation and anything else is secondary."

"While it was a risk accepting this position, the financial condition worsened limiting engineering dollars required to complete the necessary improvements."

"Typical Start-up. limited resources, minimal office, great opportunities!"
What do you like about working at GRID20/20?
"As a start-up company, we had the freedom to set our own goals, objectives, and road maps to achieve them. Our technology received broad interest from many groups. We were able to accomplish significant results with very few resources. And I enjoyed learning about company ownership, building a company, seeking investments, and driving towards the results that were needed."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"The company has been merged into another company and no longer exists as a separate entity."
What don't you like about working at GRID20/20?
"We were underfunded and weren't able to receive the compensation for our work that we deserved. Also, a partner company was trying to take advantage of us because of our relative smaller size compared to them."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"to seek funding in advance of trying to launch the company. Also to not be greedy when funding opportunities come along. It is better to own 40 or 50% of something then 80% of nothing."

"We should have seen this trend coming. If we had in enough time, we would have been able to implement a product or diversification strategy instead of closing our doors."
