"Cox Communications has been great to me. I have worked for Cox for 16+ years. I would recommend anybody who is looking for a great company to work for Cox. I am looking for a new company and different role due to my current position moving in a different direction where I don't feel my strongest skills can be put to use."
"The company is providing good job opportunities."
"I worked with Cox Communications for 15 years and was front line representative dealing with customers and internal personnel to accomplish jobs on a daily basis."
"With one of the best products in its field, Cox Communications not only excels as a business but is a powerhouse in the community. Setting strong roots by offering scholarships and community rehab Cox made an impression on me. The downside is the corporate track, which focuses on taking care of their own and not allowing outsiders to succeed."
"Great work environment. No room for advancement"
"No comment at this time. Thank You"
"I've worked face to face with customers in the retail environment and business to business with Verizon and Spectrum most recently. I believe in working respectfully with others, and holding myself accountable. I believe in keeping positive energy and working well with all coworkers to achieve success and nothing less."
"I've worked for Cox for about 4-5 years in multiple sales roles. I am grateful and blessed for an opportunity to work with my company. I have found a lot of success with Cox; however, that doesn't mean anyone should join up with Cox. I say this with no malice, but Cox is not a company that is out to help sales representatives make a living. Corporations, in general, have their self-interest in mind before anyone else's interest. Cox is a very complex monster, and I would think hard before you work in a sales capacity for Cox. Below are some things to consider or disregard if you are sincerely considering working Cox in a sales role. 1-You will be working with ineffective tools: Sales tools are engineered to be harder and fallible with each update to prevent individuals from making commission goals. It sounds terrible and almost unbelievable, but you would have to see it too believe. 2- Overperformance is punished: overperformance equals unreasonable goals. Overperformance or performing to the target goal has consequences whether market conditions allow for said goal. 3- Do not expect help: it's a sink or swim type culture. Just a fair warning. Again, I'm very blessed to have an opportunity with Cox, so do not misunderstand my review. This review is merely to point out some obstacles and hard truths about Cox, so that you may choose wisely for your next career. Best of luck to whoever reads this review!"
