"Very good management. Management always kept works inform of changes."

"Corning is more towards Research and Development sector so make sure you know where exactly you want to go."

"There is nothing specific that I didn't like as it was not an IT company there main business was manufacturing."

"Can't really suggest anything as I was an intern so didn't get much time."

"They really seem to care about their people. Compensation packages are pretty good."

"Be honest, but show your competencies. They like to know That you know what you're talking about. Be a flexible not rigid person, you'll be doing alot of things outside your job description."

"There seems to be a lack of overall focus and direction. Everything is a pop-up target, or putting out fires."

"Focus on more cohesiveness within divisions. Have a plan beyond 5 years that helps people focus their efforts and planning."

"I just finished my research intership and have to come back to school to finish my Ph.D studying."

"Be very cautious about long-term promises or speculation...they are turning the entire IT network over to outsourcing companies by the end of 2012."

"The pitiful state of the first level management group in place."

"Don't place team leaders who could not do the jobs of the people they are charged with overseeing. Clueless leadership is a death knell."

"Location, relatively far from major cities and the cold weather."

"Need to pick up the pace in developing new technologies, and be more competitive."

"The reasonable hourly income, but not much else, beyond that."

"Sure, that's easy, just talk about how well you work in a team environment...how much of a team player you are."

"The disconnect between their professed Company Values and their actions. Also, the company's yearly greenhouse gas emissions. 3.4 billion pounds of CO2, in 2011. Unacceptable."

"Quit your job and work for a company that cares about the environment."

"Currently, I have been working with Corning Inc. as a business analyst for the past 2.5 years, where I work with the business owners, system developers and IT managers; researching new developments and enhancements of business processes. During these years I have gained enormous experience in gathering information and integrating it into the IT system, document business requirements, process improvement, quality assurance and providing technical support to the firm and its clients."
