"The job of a Content Manager does involve certain routine. Nonetheless, the satisfaction of achieving your goal tops it all."
"I enjoy learning about the people and programs my company employs and supports, and I enjoy the opportunity to interact with employees across the company. I dislike the sometimes-mundane nature of announcement I'm required to wrangle."
"Working w/Japanese partners was an absolute dream."
"In my case, I was micro-managed by a supervisor who had no knowledge of CMS and when modules or even the server failed, blamed the content editors. With a better supervisor, this would have been a dream job."
"The learning experience is great. I got to learn not only from my past teams but also from researching and learning online from HTML5 to JavaScript to designing a flexible website. I also love the aspect of User Interface design. Hate is a strong word, its difficult to go back and forth on any type of design with the client, but with that said I still love what I do."
"I like being able to be creative and come up with my own marketing techniques. It is great seeing how people respond to some of the articles and videos we create."
"I like being employed as a full time writer. Job gets a bit boring at times writing about the optical industry and eyeglasses. Never enough time to research/write new content."

"A great place to work with great people, but the quarterly layoffs spare no-one."
What do you like about working at Local Corporation?
"- Friendly, supportive management- Ability to work cross-departmentally- Perks including break room with games tables, 25c snacks machines, $8 car washes, free bagels on Fridays"

What don't you like about working at Local Corporation?
"- Quarterly lay-offs- Departments are physically moved around building constantly, disrupting workflow and separating co-workers- Products are launched before development is finished- Contractors (even long-term hires) are denied all company perks, such a holiday parties and lunches out. This creates a class separation and workplace tension."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"- Fully develop products before launch- Your people are your greatest assets. Don't throw out the baby with the bathwater and lay off entire teams just because a product isn't an immediate success.- Contractors are as much the lifeblood of Local as regular employees are. Denying them the right to attend company events (many of which are cost-free) makes them feel like they don't belong to the very company they are working for."
