"Great company to work with"
"I’ve worked for Ctg for the past 4 months. My time there has given me valuable insight into new data processes and technology."
"I have worked for CTG for approximately 18 months and have enjoyed the work, atmosphere and people."
"Fast-paced environment with lots of learning and growth opportunities."
"I have worked in CTG during 2012 time frame, overall my experience is OK, but no health benefits."
"Excellent system and company."
"Sadly, I was only there for 6 weeks. I loved the opportunity to learn and perform hands-on server maintenance in several raised-floor labs. The position abruptly ended when IBM suddenly terminated the contract of the entire CTG workforce at the Austin IBM site in response to their bad 1st quarter earning report in 2013."
"I worked for COG for over a year at Eli Lilly. CTG is the largest contract company in the health care industry, but has less than 10 people here in Indianapolis and all of them are located at Lilly. We worked with the Lap personnel directly. We specialized in Silverlight zap files running on a SharePoint system. It is a very good company, great benefits and good employee relationships. I left there in good standing."
"I worked for CTG for a year as a Software Engineer, working as a contractor for IBM. CTG staff were excellent to work with. The only issues that I ever had in this situation was the available of hardware to do testing and was forced to share systems with IBM staff. They typically had to take back the resources in order to get their own work done. IBM needed the help but did not have the capital for additional hardware for their contractors."
"A decent company. I do think there should be advanced notice of contract terminations, which results in an instant layoff. It would be better if they could locate alternative positions to place you in when a contract does get terminated, since it is a contracting company."
"Extremely conservative and old fashioned (preference for paper over computers).Senior members actively resist new technology and software practices.Project management has been a weakness for years and is not improving.Staffing company mentality, history of no severance and no warning dismissals.Corporate IT presents many challenges and painful restrictions, lacks focus on productivity and customer success.Career advancement is almost non-existent as the goal is to keep salaries stagnant."
"CTG is out for it's own profits and nothing more. Had no raise in 4+ years following a 10% pay cut."
"I took the job at the lowest pay ever with the understanding that it was a temp to perm position and would pay $23 per hour after 6-months. Then I ended up training my replacement, a returning Vet."
"Avoid IBM in Tucson especially contracting for IBM with CTG. The site is dying fast. They cut 25% of their people this year and should cut another 25% next year. IBM is getting out of the hardware business. The buildings are falling apart, there is no budget for test equipment or test systems, and management has lost the will to live. Move to Austin rather than work at IBM in Tucson in any capacity."
