"CTG supervisors are very open and honest. They respect and value us as employees."

"Negotiate for all of the benefits you can, be open and honest with them about your career intentions. Ask about your options for higher salary, less benefits, etc. They are flexible in your payroll choice (salaried, salaried with some benefits, hourly, etc)"
What don't you like about working at Computer Task Group?
"We do not actually work at CTG, but instead onsite for another company as contingent workforce. I do not like being contingent. The benefts are not as good as employees, you are excluded from communications, career paths, goalsharing, many recognitions and rewards."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Contingent workers should only be placed in jobs that are likely to go away, should the company experience economic slowdown. If a job is long-term with no foreseeable end in site, the job should be a permanent position."

"I liked the independence to work on my own. I like that they didn't kill you with tests to evaluate your competency. I thought management was very open, and intelligent. They were confident enough to not act like stiff shirts."

"There weren't many benefits that came as an independent contractor."

"When dealing with personnel, continue to come from a calm, assertive, confident position, then trust what your gut is telling you about your employee. If you trust your staff, you will get great results with little effort."
