"This company is a TRAIN WRECK. Self described as an industry leader and innovator that values its employees, CSC is the epitome of what is wrong with corporate America and is an active participant in the war on the American middle class. As a long time employee, I have watched many valuable colleagues be tossed by the wayside in the name of cost cutting while millions are wasted on poorly executed global restructuring or technical initiatives that have had the sole purpose of causing a Wall Street surge on their announcement. The writing on the wall is evident and I'm sorry to see such a great institution be stripped apart in the name of stock market manipulation."
"I have worked for CSC for 6 years and it has been good until they started moving everything overseas and I don't feel safe in my job."
"I worked with CSC from May 1991 and was part of "Operation Desert Return." CSC didn't quite get their Command and Control application to the Air Force in time for the real action, but I helped get the s/w up and working at McGuire AFB. That was probably a good indicator of the company. After 23.5 years with them they are now in trouble."
"I have worked for CSC for 3 years. Their HR department is disorganized. They are only worried about the bottom line, and not their employees. They recently made several changes to vacation policy and benefits that reflect this. The people I have worked with however have been fantastic. I would not recommend this as a good or secure place to work."
"The company is favoring new hires over old tried and true talent. They outright said, there will be no raises and a lot of extra work coming to each person, then proceeded to lay people off."
"Not a positive work environment absent and aloof management with a non competitive pay rate."
"The current business model appears to be working towards inversion by transferring their main office to a location in India. This is the only company I've ever worked for where they have outsourced management, sandwiching the US resources between layers of offshore resources but giving them no direct managerial control over the people working on the tasks that the US resource is ultimately responsible for."
"I worked in CSC through PeoplNtech LLC. It was a great experience and I am sorry that I had to finish my contract."
"It was once a great company to work. Now they have removed almost all benefits from employees, No new projects coming in and the only thing left is they are asking donations from employees to run the company. Very bad place to work now."
"Excellent work environment, really depends on the project your on. I work for the DOS project, so technology turf is very stagnant and overall roadmap does not have too much to offer. Relaxed pace of work like any other government projects, and support work from home notion. Overall a great place to work."
