"It had a great staff who would help you with anything you needed. I got to learn more about the technology on the market and enjoyed helping people find what they needed."

"We had to use our own cars, so I put on 10's of thousands of miles."

"My work was part-time. I was always told what laptops we had the most off and was told to sell them."

"Just keep the workers notified about the stock and what is and what is not available"

"Long leash to fully run my business, which was the Apple category. Full accountability for all aspects of the business, from sales/margin/inventory results to involvement in store planning and design."

"I hope the new CompUSA (owned by Systemax / Tiger Direct) sees great success. It looks promising, and I would definitely consider being part of that team."
What don't you like about working at CompUSA?
"It's no longer with us, unfortunately. Toughest part was seeing a company insist on maintaining a third of its sales in negative margin laptops, while not allowing a profitable, growth oriented category (like Apple) to fully stretch its wings. Corporate disagreements regarding MDF were the root of the issue."
