"It would be slow at times, meant not a lot of working hours."

"Advancements in the scheduling list to make sure everyone received the equal amount of hours."

"It was a long time ago but it was enjoyable to work around tech and help people make purchases."

"Well I think the company is mostly gone but if you were to find one to work at I would say just work there if there is nothing better..."

What don't you like about working at CompUSA?

"Selling extended warranties was required and they counted how many you sold in a week. In order to keep your job you had to sell a certain quota of them. It was all very sleazy to be honest."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"I am not sure. maybe not go out of business"

"The customers and employees, not senior management were great to work with"

"None, the company is out of business, but if the managers are still managers at other companys please listen to your employees, managers forget this."

What don't you like about working at CompUSA?

"The senior management micro managed everything, right down to the sales level."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"None, the company is out of business so there would be no suggestions that I would have for management"

"The GM did not care about customers, only about COMPUSA earnings."

"I enjoyed my peers, and the culture was a good one. Until certain people, people in high up positions started to treat all people, including customers, as if they were nothing more than a number."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"If CompUSA were still a retail store, I would have suggested to not to expect to stay very long, as upper management tended to make us store managers enforce policies which made the regular employees feel very little."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"I would suggest upper management treat the lower level management with some respect, and take into consideration their suggestions to better the company."
