What do you like about working at Wachovia?
"I was actually hired to work at The Money Store. In fact I was relocated from the San Francisco Bay Area to do just that. However it was only 2months later that the company folded. Soon after, I was offerd a position within the company's collections department run by Homeq Servicing Corporation"
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"If you decide to work for this company, try and help the customer come up with a resolve instead of insulting their financial hardship"
What don't you like about working at Wachovia?
"The down side, it was my job to call people and threaten them with losing their homes... Needless to say, those were often times, unpleasant conversation coming from the customer"
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Pay attention to the needs of the employees, not everything is cut and dry. Sometimes you have to make acceptions and think outside the box to come to resolve"

"It was a great opportunity to learn a side of collections not many people know. I was able to have my own portfolio and was accountable for the entire collection portfolio."

"The communication with management and employee was not opened and it was never encouraged."

"To be opened to communicating with their employees"

"I enjoyed working at HSBC, because it was a challenge and I am always up for a challenge. Their was a lot to learn and the management was flexible."

"Relax and take your time to answer questions completely."

"I did not like the hours. Having to work almost every week-end interfeared with church and volunteer work that I do with other organizations."

"My suggestion for management would be to talk with your employees and understand their wants and needs. This will help you have a more productive staff if you can realize ther goals and work together to achieve the end results."
