"I like the somewhat flexible hours, beautiful grounds, clean environment, many long-time employees, great corporate orientation program, and good benefits. Pay is fair."

"While providing for good work-life balance, consider the overall political and cubicle-driven atmosphere, and if it doesn't feel right, keep looking."
What don't you like about working at Blue Cross Blue Shield?
"I dislike the highly political atmosphere and group-think mentality within each department. Clicks and alliances are rewarded, while hard-working employees are not valued. There is nearly non-existent unit and/or job-specific training."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Listen to employee suggestions and concerns. Make yourselves visible in the work environment. Compliment work well-done, and express appreciation and encouragement."
