What do you like about working at CIT Group?

"Plenty of programs to qualify borrowers for and the monetary compensation was good. Everyone was on the same wave length to accomplish goals and upper management was proactive if and when you needed them to be."

"Make sure you are ready to incorporate a lot of new information and that you can absorb it quickly."

What don't you like about working at CIT Group?

"The underwriting turn time was a bit slow and unpredictable at times. also the training resources could have been better as well as the system they used for uploading files."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Implementing a structure that makes it easier to determine accountability for each task."

"Overall, it's a good company to work for. It is a large company, so you can expect a decent benefits package and an established set of policies and procedures that are regularly updated by various levels of management, legal, and HR. Due to the structure of the company, there are times when certain decisions and promotions may be delayed, as the decision has to be approved by a number of people within the chain of command. One downside is that, as a lower-level employee, your work is less likely to be recognized or rewarded and more likely to become a positive evaluation of your department managers."

I enjoyed my work, and had an excellent relationship with my supervisor and people I work with. They offer an excellent salary and comprehensive benefit package. Company's culture is good, and workplace environment is very fast paced."
