"While their product was important, I was more interested in the power generation field offered at another company."

"My suggestions would be to avoid coercive and positional power and to research and implement better leadership skills in order to bring out desired qualities in employees."

"do not interview--will notbe happy--will get laid off and go no where while employed."

"the nepotism, the constant lay offs, the lack of benefits after being laid off--they are just not a company that is secure and fair and on the up and up."

"This review is very accurate as far as I see it, because I wasted two years of my life there."

"Some of the people in engineering are OK. Tool room easy to work with. What I also liked about chromalloy was mike Riley blaming everyone else for his incompetence. What I liked also was the h fact that everyone is a director, manager and VP.I think only two non-union people actually work there."

"Don't waste your time. The only way your going get in is if your an ass kisser too!"

What don't you like about working at Chromalloy?

"People working as engineers who are not degreed engineers. The incompetence of senior management, which made it hard to move forward with a project. Mandatory one sat per month, which could land on a holiday weekend. People do not advance on merit but on ass kissing. and thats why you have terrible management."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"I would recommend you all resign. Why don't you pay the union extra dollar so they don't strike. This way the rank and file won't have to work from 7pm to 7am."

"Ask a lot of questions in respect to where the company is going with the Carlyle Group in charge."

"Wonderful place to work with excellent feeling of job security. Loved going to work everyday, I miss it."

"Chromalloy had some good personnel to work with. I enjoyed the daily interaction with employees from operators, inspectors to directors. The work is different each day and presented new challenges."
