"Working there since 1991. Nice place to work with friendly employees. This company used to be the place We got things done. Now for some reason we have lost our direction and know-how. Some directors of operation with high school degrees are undermining abilities of others to protect their jobs."

But unfortunately for the company and its future well being, there are few Directors with critical responsibilities( OEM, Flight Repair Cell 3,4 ) are the holders of High School degrees. These folks are being paid over $100K+ to make critical decisions on behalf of the company."

What do you like about working at Chromalloy?

"Some of the people in engineering are OK. Tool room easy to work with. What I also liked about chromalloy was mike Riley blaming everyone else for his incompetence. What I liked also was the h fact that everyone is a director, manager and VP.I think only two non-union people actually work there."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Don't waste your time. The only way your going get in is if your an ass kisser too!"

What don't you like about working at Chromalloy?

"People working as engineers who are not degreed engineers. The incompetence of senior management, which made it hard to move forward with a project. Mandatory one sat per month, which could land on a holiday weekend. People do not advance on merit but on ass kissing. and thats why you have terrible management."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"I would recommend you all resign. Why don't you pay the union extra dollar so they don't strike. This way the rank and file won't have to work from 7pm to 7am."

"do not interview--will notbe happy--will get laid off and go no where while employed."

What don't you like about working at Chromalloy?

"the nepotism, the constant lay offs, the lack of benefits after being laid off--they are just not a company that is secure and fair and on the up and up."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"make sure you do things by the book"
