"The isolation, also sometimes management was not clear as to the expecations."

"To communicate expecations in an open minded yet clear method."

"Being able to lead teams and work with new exciting technology. The opportunity and frequency of travel at SPAWAR is best asset."

"SPAWAR provides a stable career with good benefits and decent salary. The work however is not as challenging as most non-government work."

"SPAWAR has changed from a free customer focus driven command to a micromanaged completely locked down environment. The focus is now on internal nonsense and not work."

"Focus on fulfilling customer and employee needs, not useless administration."

"Company's product is not diversified enough to be not affected by economy too much"

"My suggestion is to diversify product to better survive the present economy."

"New field/new experience. Challenging job. Ability to learn new systems and train others in experience I have had."

"Not much growth opportunity but relatively stable job (at other plants)."

"Laid off after 10 months of service. Wasn't told of pending lay-off at time of hire."

"Buy the proper tools/equipment for the job. People are you biggest assets!"

"Very little, job is both rewarding and challenging. The industry is changing has the pressure for cutting cost will be come a safety issue"

"Look at the strains and pressure on employees as company pushes for more productivity with less personnel."

"none. I can offer no advice. Roll the dice and take your chances."
What don't you like about working at Spirit 105.9?
"My boss is a control freak with a severe case of OCD. He is obsessed with his job and expects everyone roun him to be equally obsessed."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Follow the word of Christ. Treat people and the time they give with respect. Giving someone the ability to come in 2 hours late the next day after spending 14+ hours working the day before is just a insult. People are not robots and their time is valuable. You seem to forget that our pay is based on 40 hours a week. Working us without consideration of this de-values our pay."
