"New challenges every day. Special events like the Buick Invitation Golf Tournament. Never the same thing every day."

"Be careful that you get duties in writing and have adequate staff for tasks expected of your department."
What don't you like about working at The Lodge at Torrey Pines?
"Owner had to practical sense regarding time frames/and monies involved to complete tasks with the number of staff I was given to complete them.Example: The day after thanksgiving, he wante the entire lobby area decorated for Christmas, including ceiling high Christmas tree and the entire outside of the hotel lighting up s well using 50 extention cords running across the roof of the hotel. I had 5 full time staff."

"McDonnell Douglas had extremly intellegent people and the highest technology tools to help better oneself."

"Raises and advancements are small and slow, so don't be afraid to negotiate slaries up-front."

"There were many layers of management which sometimes slowed creativity, project progress, and individual growth."

"Adopt more of a work smarter, not harder and more is not always better philosophies."

"The lack of support from corporate. Under mind authority. Monetary restrictions placed by corporate. Lack of acknowledgment for work well done. No yearly bonus for engineers or management. No raises for engineers and management."

"Acknowledge the engineers and management staff work well done. Provide better support to satellite sites. Better benefits."

"Be honest, Keep your record clean, be sure you can pass a Top secret security clearance"

"Did not like the project manager. Stole company material for personal use. Spread false accusations about me resulting in loosing my job."

"Owners couldn't even pay payroll company - was always waiting an extra week after payday only to be paid in cash!"

"Sell property - do not attempt to operate any business in Ohio. Never tell the State Fire Marshal where to go!"

"It caught me off guard and I don't think every one will be as honest as I was."
What do you like about working at Magone Marine?
"I worked the boats which keeps me away from the rest of the employees which is a good thing because they hire some real knotheads !"

"It has been four years since my termination,most if not all of the management and foremen have also left the company.My advice to you is unless you have marketable skills go to one of the construction companies,canneries,PAC STEV, ect."

"The disorganization,the petty little personalities getting inthe way of doing the jobs in an efficient manner,and last ,but not least, the backstabbing."

"Dan has heard them all.He manages to provide a service that is much needed."
