3 I worked for the Sun-Times for 4 years after it bought the company I worked for. The focus of the company has changed drastically in that time. There had been no performance appraisals or raises for the employees for several years. There was no feedback for the employees with regard to whether the work was or was not satisfactory.

Chicago Sun-Times is a multimedia news agency serving the greater-Chicago area. With its daily newspaper subscription rate at 432,455, the Sun-Times is the 9th largest newspaper in the country. Its digital subscriptions are nearly 71,000, which is about 16 percent of its circulation. The news agency has a significant national presence, with eight of the news agency's journalists and columnists earning Pulitzer Prizes.

A group of investors under the name of Wrapports LLC purchased the Sun-Times Media Group in late 2011 for a reported $20 million. Its purchase included the Sun-Times and its seven sister daily newspapers, 32 Pioneer Press weeklies and host of affiliated and standalone websites. In all the Sun-Times group serves about 300 communities.
