"I worked for Charter for 2 years in their cancellation dept., aka retention. Horribly stressful job. Nothing is consistent, impossible to advance, management rules by fear and negative reinforcement. The script you have to read no matter what the customer on the phone says! Constant fear of losing your job. Impossible to get a vacation day off! Decent pay ($21/hr with commission); free cable/internet, good benefits."
