Charter Communications provides cable television, high speed Internet, and telephone service to customers in 25 states across the United States of America. Charter Communications was first created in 1993 in Delaware. In 1998, Charter Communications had one million customers, and by 2002, the company had grown to more than 6.8 million customers across the United States.

In March 2009, Charter Communications filed for bankruptcy. After corporate restructuring, Charter Communications emerged from bankruptcy in November 2009. Currently, Charter is recognized as a Fortune 500 company.

There are over 16,000 employees currently working at Charter. Charter careers include a variety of positions from technical to sales to managerial to aviation fields. The majority of positions at Charter involve direct customer service and sales.
