"I work for CenturyLink currently. They are a large company with over 45,000 employees and an international presence. I've grown a lot with the company and appreciate all the diverse products and teams I got to work with. I feel like I'm better suited for a smaller team however."

The support that you receive from your trainers and supervisors is quite high and they achieve perfect marks for the friendliness they present towards you. Unfortunately, the systems that CenturyLink uses to manage customer accounts frequently run into errors and as a Sales and Service Representative your job will consist of fixing errors made by other representatives. Customers usually call in very frustrated as they have run into these problems multiple times. CenturyLink focuses on sales over service and you will be constantly told to sell new services over fully supporting customers with their existing problems. This is probably going to be a conflict of interest for many employees working for CenturyLink, myself included."

"While CenturyLink has grown over the years through M&A, it has had a hard time finding its place in the market. It's been a tough road combining strategies that serve large Metro areas with rural areas. Opportunity for advancement seems to vary based upon location local market."
