"I work for CenturyLink currently. They are a large company with over 45,000 employees and an international presence. I've grown a lot with the company and appreciate all the diverse products and teams I got to work with. I feel like I'm better suited for a smaller team however."
"Show up to work on time and do your job and you will be just fine."
"It is a good place to work."
"I worked for Centurylink for 3 years, during that time I was able to work with some amazing people. Long term employees who make the job fun, rewarding and by far a great place to work. I would recommend Centurylink as a place of employment."
"I have worked at CenturyLink for over 2 years now, and i have to say it's been great! They have given everything I need to be successful and advance my career within the company."
"In the last couple of years the company has fired well over half of employees at my particular location and outsourced management that had been there for 15+ years."
"My experience at Centurylink was in a contractor role and the contract ended. My manager had a professional and great personality and was very supportive in making sure I had the tools and resources to get the job done."
"CenturyLink has a great training program for new employees. The support that you receive from your trainers and supervisors is quite high and they achieve perfect marks for the friendliness they present towards you. Unfortunately, the systems that CenturyLink uses to manage customer accounts frequently run into errors and as a Sales and Service Representative your job will consist of fixing errors made by other representatives. Customers usually call in very frustrated as they have run into these problems multiple times. CenturyLink focuses on sales over service and you will be constantly told to sell new services over fully supporting customers with their existing problems. This is probably going to be a conflict of interest for many employees working for CenturyLink, myself included."
"While CenturyLink has grown over the years through M&A, it has had a hard time finding its place in the market. It's been a tough road combining strategies that serve large Metro areas with rural areas. Opportunity for advancement seems to vary based upon location local market."
"Prepare to be just another number."
