"Great company that really cares about its temporary workforce as well as its permanent workforce. People who work there are intelligent and helpful. No office politics that I could see. It takes a while to get up-to-speed and feel productive. Not many opportunities for becoming a permanent employee unless you wish to go into management."

"I was an application development intern at CDW over the summer. Everybody I dealt with at the company was very nice, however, the intern program was not very organized. There were many days where I had little to no work to do. Additionally, the work that I did receive was often not as meaningful as I had hoped. Overall, the people are nice, but the intern program was not organized correctly."

"I got to work with great technical team with mediocre management that are over enthusiastic but all too often an obstacle to getting things done and constant source of useless meetings that slowed down production. Overall the company is a good place to work although they have not adopted lean principles and tend to build products in a vacuum that are one offs that are never sold again."

"If you have an opportunity to work for CDW, take the offer. The first 6 months are hard, when you are building your account base. If you have a positive attitude and follow the plans that they have laid out, you will be fine."

"The bonus structure is not inline with other VARs in the industry."

"The management teams that are in place are excellent. They have an open door policy about everything."
