"I love the work--the pay is good, working with the kids is great. lots of freedom in that sense."

"be qualified for job, love helping people, and be ok with going from home to home for your work."
What don't you like about working at Youth Advocate Programs?
"but the beauracratic tape is pretty messy and I spent lots of weekends at boring and pointless training-- the leadership there was really flimsy-- I felt super supported and then totally disconnected. this is what I mean by flimsy."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"more cohesion and connectedness between staff members and more of a sense of responsibility to staff people as professionals (if they are that) and less micro management"

"Phoenix Indian Medical Center is understaffed with a limited amount of funds and resources. We provide the best patient care by working as a team, being creative and patient. If you can work with the above circumstances we would love you to apply."

"The two women who owned it were very difficult to work for. The turnover in employees was matched by the turnover in clients."

"Go in for long-term psychotherapy with a professional who's well versed and skilled in the areas of narcissism, paranoia, eating disorders, and addictions. Then, after completion or termination, do it again."

"My boss was racist and biased and was never spoke one word to me whe I resigned."

"I liked my job as a Case Manager."

"I disliked the lack of leadership ability and the unfair treatment of some staff including working women with children. (Doctor excuses are NOT honored) A lot of management so called management was really aggressive incompetence. There was at least one person FIRED or escorted from the building EVERYDAY.octor excuses Lots of what is considered management is really aggressive incompetence."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"There is more than enough management, not enough leadership. We need more people in leadership positions who actually care. This would help the high turn over rates. Cutomer Service starts at home, with your employees."

"Most management needs to be replaced. Supervisors do not sit down and speak with individuals regarding progress on the job and expect them to read minds."

"I liked the mix of patients, mostly elderly, and my co-workers were great, as was my Director. I am a patient advocate, so I like working with patients and families"

"It was owned by six physicians, and they did not want to listen to the case managers."

"Understanding more about vehicles and the other side of being a car owner."

"Pay attention and be ready to drive to the other hub to get hired on."

"They hired through a temp agency and could only get hired on if you worked at the main hub."

"If you have a good employee might want to keep them by hiring them on."
