"I've worked for Cardinal Health for a few years. Overall, it is a good place to work. Coming from a smaller business, sometimes the large workplace can take longer to complete projects. Pros: Good benefits, flexible work hours.Cons: Very staged steps to promotions/raises, very little flexibility with HR."

"Working for the company has been great, great benefits, not great work life balance because you spend most of your day there, but as a management team, Southern CA has one of the worst styles ever. You cannot be openly LGBT there because you will immediately be indirectly abused. They dislike the LGBT community and unless you are family, they will single you out. The company uses an outside company to hire temporary hires, who are usually family members of current employees. Majority of the company is family, so to feel a part of a team, working to get the job done is not possible. They single out minorities, and those with indifference of their machismo and sexist views. Great company to work for, but be aware of the mental abuse, and lies they spread to get you fired, because most are families. Good luck if you're black or LGBT."

"It is a nice place to work. However, the technology scope for SAP CRM is very limited."

"I've worked for Cardinal Health for 4 years as a sales rep. As most sales position have, this position allows a lot of flexibility as you have a home office and make your own schedule. The company has been losing market share significantly over the last 5 years because of misguided executive leadership and marketing initiatives. Few employees are happy in their workplace as we are all set up to fail as we don't have a competitive advantage."

"Terrible job, hours, pay, benefits, and the way you are treated. Promises being broken all the time. Make sure to get everything in writing or you will be lied to. No training. Long hours because management won't hire enough people to fill the needs so they can increase their bonuses. No raises whatsoever. Give them your heart and soul and they will take more. Rules apply to some but not others."

"No way to move up unless you become a text book employee. Leadership says they want feedback but if it is negative you will be punished. If you don't get into the Good Old Boy network. Leave the company."

"Not a secure job, Cardinal was the worst experience I have ever had, don't wish it on anyone."

What do you like about working at Cardinal Health?

"Pay and benefits are ok. More vacation time than most. The lessons, skills, and warehouse experience acquired."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Be honest, hardworking, and ready to accept change often (good or bad and pretend you like it). Good luck to you, you will probably need it."

What don't you like about working at Cardinal Health?

"Common sense is not used to solve problems. Simplicity is not an option. Lacks integrity. Loyalty, hard work, and honesty are returned with betrayal."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Brush up on the honesty and professional skills. Sometimes trying to save a buck or two ends up costing more. Don't compromise quality. The customers are not the only ones looking into the competition."

What do you like about working at Cardinal Health?

"I enjoy working with the people."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"It used to be a great place to work, I used to have a lot of respect for what they did as a company. But not anymore, their greatness has superseded them, they are no longer the customer focused and people focused company they used to be. It is all about the mighty dollar. So if being over worked and adequately paid is what you are looking for then Cardinal is your place."

What don't you like about working at Cardinal Health?

"The lack of communication for upper management. The current removal of many of the benefits that attracted me to working at cardinal. The fact that upper management gets large yearly bonuses even when they tell us there is no money in the budget for salary increases at lower levels. The way they say they are customer focused but in reality they are just money driven."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"It is not all about the mighty dollar. Cardinal Health is all about servicing the customer. We are supposed to be a customer focused company and that direction has changed drastically throughout my many years at the company. Be more vocal to your employees, stop all the side stepping and tell them the truth. Stop taking away our benefits, you have a hiring freeze right now and have downsized our staff to the bare minimal, we need some sort of incentive to do the jobs of two and three people. I used to enjoy working here, but not anymore. It has become just a job to me. My excitement to service the customer has been diminished by all the money hungry upper management."

What do you like about working at Cardinal Health?

"Cardinal has a great company culture. The company also encourages a good life/work balance. You also have opportunity for advancement within Cardinal. Last, Cardinal will look out for past or present Cardinal employees."
