"I liked being a calibration technician for the knowledge gained on certain types of Aerospace and Aviation Test equipment. Enhanced knowledge of precision measurement tools and an improved perception of object sizes."
"I think it is very satisfying knowing that I am directly affecting the quality of the manufacturing and engineering processes by maintaining the accuracy of equipment used for their processes. The variety of disciplines that come into play keeps my job interesting. The down side of Metrology is that manufacturing and engineering seem to be free-falling in this country which leads to the demise of electronic and calibration technicians."

"long drive to ge home about 2hours round trip.and after 8 to 10hours this makes a longtip home."

"none, all the management I worked for are good skilled people."

"know your skills well and take all the training you can learn to stay with the level that yazakI brings to the table every day!"

"the only thing I think was bad wasn't the company, but the hour drive both ways to work"

"NO, I think yazakI handle's their management very good and very much fair with their employees."

"i've learn a lot of things about calibration and instrument maintenance."

"do not interview with this company. low salary and almost nop benefits."

"the boss always likes to micro manage the work and he doesn't trust his employees."

"give some trust to your employees since they are your number 1 asset."

"Find ways to involve the employees in decision making or improvements. Make 5S more efficient and far less caught up in unnecessary repetition."

"Having 4 weeks of vacation time is great but pay has not increased in 3 years."
