"Don't exagerate your experience they will find out and don't require you to have done the exact job you are applying for. They are ok with training and train well. This is unusual in the industry."

"Image is very important, youth is valued, play the part - unless you are related to an executive, then you have no worries!"

"Very cliquish - clubish, lots of gossip & pettiness culturally. It is not a place to raise questions about funds or financing. They fired a top audit firm because the auditor wouldn't change their report - that's a little suspect."

"Nah, they are running the co. just they way they want to and it is working for them."

"You are your own boss. Management is there to assist you. I was a top producer for ten years due to the great support of Management. Loved the job."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Don't expect a lot of training, be ready to learn by doing. Have great time-management skills. Many realtors are bored retired individuals with an income and want to just hang around and talk all day."
What don't you like about working at Prudential?
"Having no security of pay. Living only on commission income is stressful. No retirement, no benefits. Getting paid had nothing to do with competency, but market conditions and luck."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Should allow agents to have outside employment so they have some cash flow between commissions."

"freedom, come and go. When you close a deal, it is wonderful!"

"Don't forget that they need you. It's sales and they want bodies."

"commission only. VERY hard to get started and get deals. Takes a TON of work."

"Better lunch meetings. Don't just assign juniors based on seniority."
