"IT department was reactionary instead of proactive which created an unstable environment."

"Management structure and no ability to speak to anyone outside your group without approval, very overmanaged"

"Stop being reactive and get to know people instead of listening to supervisors only"

"This company had very good working environment . I have gaind many things from this comopany."

"I do not like the managment of this company .there was no any appriciation of our work ."

"It could me more better , if they follow some system. and they should make some policies"

"It was close to home."

What do you like about working at Brightpoint?

"My job gave me the opportunity to build a territory and to build a sales team. Management was open to suggestions and was more than willing to help w/ problems, issues and to get out in the field and see what was working and what wasn't working. Brightpoint was a great place to work really and when I left I wasn't looking for a new job. It just turned out that Sprint cut out all Master Distributor in their channel sales strategy and my position was eliminated."

"Be yourself and be enthusiastic. Brightpoint looks for people who are innovative and have a can do, go getter type of personality."

What don't you like about working at Brightpoint?

"Smaller company which isn't that bad of a thing but there were no real advancement opportunities."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"The channel sales division that I worked for no longer exists at Brightpoint so I can't give much advice to management in the wholesale/distribution side of things b/c I don't know their business."

"Working with different technologies. They are closed here in Reno due to the economic climate."

"Brightpoint as a whole has been a good learning experience, and has been good in preparing me for further career opportunities."

"I enjoy the fact that it has served as creating a solid foundation for my planning career."

"In my current position, I am unable to move forward or grow my career further at this point. I am the only person with the skills required to complete my position, and there is no plan to transition anyone else into that role so that I can advance into other areas."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"I would suggest that there was a more defined plan to help employees receive more opportunities to branch out into other areas and learn new skills. It would be very beneficial to have a diversified workforce that has multiple skill sets to apply to other areas of the company."
