"I don't understand why this is part of the job application, frankly."
"Worked with the company for 4.5 years. Great culture as long as you're either A) a competitive person or B) not in any of the departments that are numbers driven. Great benefits and on the higher end of the pay scale for the area. I enjoyed my time there and was sad to be laid off."
"I worked with this company from year 2012."
"Excellent starting pay, morale, and internal opportunities for growth."
"I worked at Bridgepoint in the products department for about 2 years. Love the department but the management of Bridgepoint is lacking."
"I've worked for Bridgepoint for six years. Instead of engaging people with professional development and opportunities to grow, they try to motivate employees with big salaries, generous benefits, and fears of layoffs. Some good people work there, but there's a serious lack of leadership."
"The root of the problem is for-profit and education is a contradiction. Bridgepoint Education struggles with focus on the bottom line while also offering educational services to students. I have been employed with the organization since 2007 and have seen everything first hand. The company is filled with inexperienced managers and directors who only got their positions because of tenure. Communication within departments is horrible."
"I've worked here since 2009."
"I've been with Bridgepoint for over 5 years, and while my department and immediate management is great, the upper management and corporate policies are horrible. Multiple years of RIFs and then the CEO takes a 21% pay increase with absolutely no shame. Maybe it's just me, but if you are the CEO of a company that has to lay people off it probably isn't the time to accept a salary increase that amounts to at least 2 base employees salaries."
"I've worked at Bridgepoint for over 6 years. It has been a great company that values its employees. Bridgepoint has succeeded in becoming a disruptor in the education space."
"Borderline boiler room operation. A churn and burn culture."
