2.7Company manages by fear. Property managers are not allowed to think for themselves. Leasing agents are robots and do not craft deals or lease language. Executives and upper management do not have experience outside of company. Dress code is ridiculous (no facial hair, white shirts and ties, no exceptions without suspension), reports up the ying-yang, not allowed to text, property inspections are expected to be perfect, work load is outrageous for the salary.
4.4I have been working since September 2013 in Boxer Property, It is a big company in leasing office and have around 80 office lease buildings in Houston. I am working for 40 hours a week. I have been a good team work. My supervisor is a good supervisor. I was not told that that this is the HVAC construction job when I was interviewed. I prefer to work as the service technician as I have been having experience as HVAC service technician.
3Pros: Nice people. Pleasant working atmosphere. A place to gain experience and move on.
Cons: Pay 25 - 35% below market rate. High turnover rate just because of that. Benefit is horrible. Do not provide adequate training for new employee. "Go and figure it out on your own" is the attitude.
Advice to Management: Treat your employees as assets not expenses. Pay a competitive salary if you want to retain good employees. Provide adequate training.
