"I would have said just be yourself and share your passions. Now that the company is gone, I'd give that same advice to someone interviewing for a like minded company."

What don't you like about working at Borders?

"I didn't often get as many hours as I would have liked and I was in charge of cleaning the restrooms. I don't think I'd want to clean restrooms again!"

"I would have listened to the employees and General Managers of my stores more. Employees often have great ideas about how to boost morale, sales and participation in events. They are the most valuable resource a company has and I wish our CEO had taken the opportunity to consult them."
