"Most of the front line employees are fun to work with and you can make many new friends. They are also very flexible with your scheduling."

"Know that you are getting into retail and often have to deal with rude and obnoxious customers."

What don't you like about working at BJ's Wholesale?

"The management is horrible, they are never helpful when you need a work related problem fixed. They are extremely skimpy on payroll and often hire new and cut back more experienced employee's hours. Also all the employees, including managers, all gossip about each other. It's like you are in high school again."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Focus more on the actually needs of their employees instead of doing whatever it takes to meet their monthly goals. Employees will work better if they are happy and treated with respect."

"It really is a great company continually evolving as consumer needs change. Bring a great go-getter attitude to your interview and be willing to train and evolve your skill set."

"Nothing, it was an excellent opportunity to learn and grow. There was no opportunities to move up any corporate ladder but it was great in your own position."

"Management trusted employees to get the job done. Management even helped out to meet deadlines. The only suggestion I'd have is for management to be more involved in new employee training."
