What do you like about working at Bixby Land?

"Overall the people are great below the level of senior management. There is a ping pong table which makes for fun assuming you can actually find time to play."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"The CEO is a former Irvine Company President and likes to have employees that fit the Irvine Company cut throat mentality. When negotiating salary be certain to get everything in writing as they will go back on their word. They don't care about their people at all so get what you can from them and get out."

What don't you like about working at Bixby Land?

"The senior management group is completely incompetent and are solely concerned with lining their pockets. They have little interest in building shareholder wealth which should be their top priority. The CEO likes to manage by fear and no other senior executive has enough guts to stand up to him."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Learn to manage your people and be leaders of the company and worry less about how much money you'll make. If the economy was better I believe more then half of the current staff would have left by now."

"Fast paced environment with tremendous learning opportunities. Great fellow employees."

What don't you like about working at Bixby Land?

"Insecure upper management who were always trying to one up other managers."

"Stop playing the games and work together as a team."

"I wasn't busy enough and not enough responsibility."

"The management. They were excellent mentors."

"It's not easy to get in but once you're in, you're considered family."

"I have no suggestions because they are professionals in their job."
