"I was only at Bisk for 3 months, but while I was there I was welcomed in and treated fairly. I acquired a new, useful set of skills from dedicated, passionate group of professionals that loved what they do. My overall experience was great and I would recommend Bisk to my friends as a place to work at and a business to deal with."

"I've worked at Bisk for 5 years and I love the company. I think there's a lot of opportunities to learn and grow, but you have to have a high tolerance for change and volatility. There have been some major changes in market forces affecting the online education space, and Bisk is still finding it's placed in the new environment."

"Great company potential unused by senior management that shows no leadership, vision or business acumen. Human resources focuses on ping pong tables and on pleasing the owner with no focus on performance. Shame"

"The real problem starts with the President of the company due to the lack of direction and decision making by him plain and simple. Hard to establish a circle of trust when the president of the company allows his wife (a self-proclaimed expert) to be put in a leadership/ownership position with no clear direction to the company. I doubt that even the executive team knows what the direction is, but they are way too scared to ask what her role is. The dismissal of the entire creative team (30 people, yep changing people’s lives alright) due to “poor performance”. No direction given from above on what performance was, but fire them anyway."

"I started here in July of 2015. Coming from a tiny company where you were expected to wear every hat to having a straightforward role in which to grow and specialize was an adjustment. It's been a fantastic experience, though. Everyone has been so warm and welcoming from day one, and my team is like a family. I have anxiety issues, so I was worried it'd take a while to open up and really fit in, but that went away quickly. It's an incredibly social and fun atmosphere, a safe learning environment, and my colleagues often get genuinely excited about things we do. You never have to be afraid to ask questions, there's always somebody willing to help, and you can spark up some pretty interesting dialogue as people sneak in to hear what's going on and give their two cents. Open feedback, constructive criticism, and positive reinforcement are all a part of what keeps us bonded and performing at our best. We challenge each other, engage in a little friendly competition, and do so in an uplifting way. The benefits are awesome, from the PTO and insurance to the highly robust tuition assistance. New initiatives seem to be emerging monthly to keep us happy and healthy, from on-site fitness classes to smoking cessation to stress management and more. We have FlexTime in SEO so you can shift your schedule around a bit to accommodate traffic, and you don't have to tear your hair out from stress if life happens and you have to tend to a personal crisis. The management is very understanding and flexible. At the end of the day, as long as genuinely you put your best foot forward, stay on top of industry trends and techniques, always strive to learn and grow, and keep in mind that the end goal of your entire mission is to help students successfully achieve their higher education goals, you'll do well here."

"I have worked at Bisk since 2007 and have had a stressful work atmosphere for most of it. Things are getting very bad here since the owner's son took over. I was always thinking of looking for employment elsewhere because of the constant pressure to work at 220%, and the lack of tools to get the job done, but I enjoyed my associates and loved what I did. Now, I have to move on. There has to be a better place out there. So many people are quitting that it's not possible to keep up with the work load. Too many things are falling through the cracks and everyone blames everyone else. It's too stressful for the pay and lack of moral. I hope I find another job soon. I'm out of here."

"From someone who spends the better part of a year working there, think about it before you accept an offer at Bisk. My experience from training on to my very last day was an environment of: Do this or you are fired. It was a frequent atmosphere of fear and threatening to Take us to HR if we did not comply. Even talking to your co-workers is frowned upon and a social environment is discouraged. Everything is monitored right down to time spent in the bathroom (true story). Do not work here."
