What do you like about working at Virginia Mason Medical Center?
"Work was always available and varied, though it sometimes was repetitive."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"The resume needs to be a detailed work oriented resume."
What don't you like about working at Virginia Mason Medical Center?
"The supervisor was always on medical leave for one reason or another, though the person who was in charge when the supervisor was on leave was good."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"If the person in charge cannot be available at least some of the time, someone else needs to be put in that position who can be available for an acceptable amount of time."
What do you like about working at American Red Cross?
"The feeling of working toward something that actually helps the global community."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Have a back-up job for when you are inevidably laid off."
What don't you like about working at American Red Cross?
"Bureaucratic nightmare; no room for innovation or creative problem solving within lower-level staff. Reaction time is low in response to problems because employees are always waiting for orders from the higher-ups instead of being table to take it upon themselves to do what they think is necessary. There have also been massive lay-offs recently, and cutbacks to health insurance coverage, cafeteria services, pensions, and employee perks like anniversary parties for people who have worked for the company 20, 25, or 30 years. They have also recently canceled the annual employee holiday party, because they thought it would look bad to spend that kind of money on a party after laying off so many people."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Train your employees adequately to do their jobs, then TRUST them to do their jobs. Lower-level employees often have practical suggestions on how to do things more cheaply or efficiently. Maybe if you listened to them instead of paying to bring in lean experts who have never done these functions before, the company could be more cost efficient without requiring all of the employee cutbacks."
What do you like about working at DaVita?
"I enjoyed the fact that I could be on my own for some of the time, with no one around to really bother me."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Be very careful of what you wish for, as you just might get it! Make sure you get whatever they tell you in writing. I've been lied to a few times about that."
What don't you like about working at DaVita?
"Management has its issues. They hire people not qualified to lead people, just because they have a degree. Certain areas of the country have racial issues between management and the workers."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Actually live by the core values DaVita so dearly pastes all over every clinic they own."

What do you like about working at Genadyne?
"The thing I liked about working at this company was the daily commute and time I had to work at."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Anyone who wants to expand their experience while working for a small company should apply to this company."
What don't you like about working at Genadyne?
"I didnt like that there was no growth for me in the company. When I was working for this company it was a small company of about 15-20 employees and the potential growth for me was minimal. I was also going to finish my degree and I used this company to help me with experience not growth."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"There are a lot of things that needed to be changed such as job responsibilities. I was responsible for manufacturing in the beginning. I was later asked to go in the field to train nurses and doctor, also R&D on equipment, repair and calibrate, and sale and technical support"

"I have been supported and help with any issues that may come up."

"Make sure you come up front and let them know your future plans and what are your expectations."
What don't you like about working at IHS Dialysis?
"I don't like the annual 2% raise and not being able to grow in the company."

"I suggest to have a good communication and willing to help."
