"I have been in Phoenix for two years and was promised the COO position. It appears that the CEO does not want to relinquish any power at this point. I have created great opportunities for the company to go to the next level. The owner has been in the business for thirty-five years. He brought me aboard with the idea of replacing him but has a tough time giving it up. I do not want to wait for him to have a change of heart."

The main cons of the company are the lack of direction, inconsistent strategy (if any), and lack of advancement in technologies and teams. It would be nice to see money invested back into the products and employees."

"Every department is different. My recommendation is to keep looking elsewhere."

"Cliques everywhere. Upper management ignores unprofessional conduct. Most of the mid-level management frequently throw their employees under the bus for their own failures."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Get rid of the bullies- senior management needs to talk with employees and understand the daily frustrations and obstacles. HR department needs to stop protecting mid-level managers."
