"Politics are terrible. Huge management layer with a lot of deadwood. Employees have to find their own project work. Marketing does not do anything."

"Start managing instead of watching your own backs"

"just explain what's in your tool bag and tell them stories about how you used your tools to fix things, build and make things, create new things in your past..."

"not enough projects to work on, can't get enough software project work, i.e. writing code"

"go after more projects that require embedded software for sensor and systems integration... hardware related software, etc."
