What do you like about working at Barney's Export Service?
"I worked in the office and I would pick up and deliver products then transport to customs, port or airport. So I wasn't stuck in the office every day. I enjoyed meeting the deadlines and the urgent priorty shipments."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"I would offer good luck to the person and tell them not to mention that his computer programs are so out of date ( ie.no virus protection on computer systems or MS word, excel etc.) because he tends to take offence to the mere mention that he might want to upgrade a bit. He won't even look into changing anything after all its worked well for him for that last 30 years."
What don't you like about working at Barney's Export Service?
"I don't feel secure in my job because my boss doesn't follw customers directions and business is dropping because of it. One other thing that bothers me is that my boss looks over my shoulder as I am typing...I hate that and it make me feel nervous. He is a great guy but he micromanages to the 10th degree."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"I would make the CEO wear a hearing aide as when you speak with him he doesn't really hear you and gets what you say wrong. I would be more organized with the shipments and coordinate the shipments better. Also I would use more modern computer software and applications."
