"Job is essentially cold calling all day long, while being forced to work at least 60 hours per week to make upper management money. You have to spend $1000 up front through the company to get licensed, then have to wait even longer before you can collect commissions, but are expected to work in the meantime and generate sales. Very pyramid-scheme like, would not recommend to recent college grads or anyone new to finance/sales."
"I worked as a field agent for about 3 years. Selling insurance and building your own financial planning practice is both challenging and rewarding. Having a clear vision of how you want your practice to operate and how you will be compensated to do that is imperative."
