"Too many middle managers who are obviously not qualified to do their job. But the mentality of promoting based on years of service versus experience is silly."

"Get a little more involved with those divisions of which you handsomely over-paid to obtain."

"Nope. Avid is a good company that takes care of their employees. The people who work their are intelligent and hard-working."

"The management seemed unsure of the direction to take and the board of directors got rid of them. The new management is software centric and doesn't seem to understand the value of proprietary hardware to bring out the best of their large software base. I wish the best to them on this new path."

"As I mentioned before, that proprietary hardware can be used to bring out the best features of their large software base."
