"I've worked at Avanade for over 4 years as a senior manager. Great people and good WLB for consulting. Software Consulting is not easy and requires individuals with good organizational skills, the ability to communicate with clients as well as strong software development skills. Avanade is a great place for such people. However, consulting is NOT for everyone, if you are not a self-starter, able to work independently, averse to travel, etc. it's a high-energy world, and dealing with the ups and downs of consulting is not easy. Avanade offers a Microsoft backed consulting environment, with big clients all over the country"
