"Run while you still can. If you want no growth potential, poor pay and micromanagement, this might be the place for you."

"The corporate culture is terrible! Morale is very low, metrics to meet are unrealistic, the pay is poor, and there is no upward growth."

"Employ metrics that are truly geared at the customer, be more in-tune with employees and what it really takes to do the job, and upgrade the ethics in how customers and employees are treated."

What do you like about working at AT&T?

"The department allowed you to grow and learn about telecommunications to improve yourself and be a better employee. Those who took advantage were made permanent employees, became team leaders or troubleshooters, and were eligible for promotions (either within the department or within other departments)."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"I never had a personal interview. I took AT&T's employment test and passed. Approximately 1 week later, I was given a starting date for a new department AT&T was opening."

What don't you like about working at AT&T?

"They encouraged teamwork, but the atmosphere is very competitive amongst the employees."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"In the department I worked, only one-half of the managers knew the job and were instrumental and supportive when escalating customers' complaints."
