1I was interviewing for a Senior InfoSec role for ATCC, and incredibly interested in the position. I was receiving incredible feedback throughout the process and finally had the chance to meet with the CITO in a 4th or 5th interview. The interview with the CITO was amazing, he gave incredible feedback and then followed with a verbal offer.
Then they ghosted me after giving me a verbal offer. I had to hound them on email to even get an explanation and I was told that my salary requirements were too high and that they went with another candidate. The hiring manager, asked me my salary requirements early on in the interview process and verbally acknowledged that "I know what the salary range is for the job, and that's not a problem."
The tech side of ATCC is dishonest and untrustworthy in my honest opinion after going through this experience. I can't imagine the principles held by the rest of the company. I would steer clear from seeking their employment or even doing business with them after what I experienced.
I've never in my life received a verbal offer from a CITO and had no follow up afterwards.. unreal.
1.3The people are friendly and polite enough, it is a very dry professional environment. Although all the different groups are in one building at the Manassas campus, there is a lot of segregation and cliquishness. There are not many opportunities to move up, and because of certain departments having such high turnover everyone is required to be in their original position they were hired for, for at least one year before switching departments. There's a culture of harsh, even cruel retaliation if you do something a higher ranking person does not like. They will set you up for failure, and because this happens from the top down it trickles into the bottom level of people's way of thinking. You cannot make a mistake, even in training, as it will be held against you and you will be viewed as incompetent and if you ever make a mistake again they will throw any previous mistakes back in your face.
4.2The quality of the coworker talent was very good. I was able to learn a lot from coworkers and apply that learning to provide for better processes in use and a better product from the company.
