What do you like about working at Brookfield Homes?
"The construction industry for me is something I enjoy being a part of the process of growth. At Brookfield, I was allowed to be the best I could possibly be and at the same time encouraged to learn and grow with the complany."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Obtain a degree in project management while working in the field gaining the experience hands on. Both hands on and schooling are necessary to make or be the best project manager in the construction/housing industry."
What don't you like about working at Brookfield Homes?
"Sometimes the lack of communication caused misunderstandings that would slow down progress. This lack of clear communicatioin was usually the root most other problems."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Some of the project managers could have had more experience in the field so they could have a better understanding of what the challenges were for those of us in the field. The same is true for us in the field, we needed more knowledge of what it takes to manage the project from the office. Role reversal would help in understanding the challenges each of had."

"They gave me an oppitunity to grow."

"They were good but sometimes upper management were not to motivational when it came to dealing with staff."

"To work well with your staff."

"I dislike the seven-day work week."

"I would suggest having one day off every week."

What don't you like about working at Global Linguistic Solutions?
"CONUS & OCONUS are so hosed to the point of being beyond FUBR they are just shy of criminal (IMHO). Some things are past criminal. Incompetence would be an understatement. I walked off the job after 6 months to keep some integrity (3 months in country)"
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Sell used cars (even in the cash for clunkers environment) or get a job as a politician (they aren't as lovable as lab rats)"
