"Ashcroft has a long company history but is facing difficult times as they are faced with growing competition and are overly dependent on the oil and gas industry. They are making attempts to diversify their product offering to remedy this. They are also making efforts to appeal to younger workers. Their long company history is evident in their culture as they have an aging workforce. Regardless it is a good place to work as they make an effort to take care of their employees. Like with any job having a strong relationship with your supervisor is key and some are certainly better than others. But ultimately you are provided with the freedom to get your work done."
