"I've been a freelance web developer for a little over 3 years now, and while being freelance has the benefits of setting your own hours and being your own boss, the down side of being freelance is the lack of benefits that come with the position. I am currenty seeking a long term position with a good, honest company that can help me strengthen my porfolio and help me excel and work on my web development skills."

"Serious management problems throughout EDMC (which owns Art Institute of Pittsburgh - Online Division). Multiple lawsuits pending against them. Problems extending into HR. I would not recommend working for them - this coming from someone who has worked there for 8 years."

"Good employer with a good benefits package. They work instructors very hard, but teaching the best software packages and watching the light come on in the eyes of students is gratifying. Our graduates go on to have great success in the industry!Coworkers make the day go easily... they are a sincere and dedicated bunch of professionals. We make it work despite a lack of corporate support."

"I worked as a tutor at the Art Institute so I could gain the experience of helping others learn what I had learned fairly easy. Although budget cuts had a major impact on our team, we were able to make a difference in many students education. Sometimes we were complimented on our efforts as being more effective than that of the actual course instructor. So it was very gratifying and I would recommend it to anyone."

"I enjoy working in the Print Lab at the Art Institute of Dallas for it is a great learning experience on how to properly print graphic projects using laser jet, inkjet, and plotter printers. My only dissatisfaction is that being a student worker I am only allowed to work 20 hours in a week and there is no room for increased pay because student workers are only paid minimum wage."
