"Motivation consists solely of screaming and threatening jobs."

What do you like about working at Apptricity?

"The free coffee, the view and the fellow employees. Absolutely nothing else."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"If you read the short this company is a wonderful place to be, it is generally written by either the CEO or requested by him to his staff."

What don't you like about working at Apptricity?

"As a recent reviewer stated, management is completely inconsistent and there isn't any stability within the organiization as to what direction the company is going in. Strategies are always changing on a whim. I've seen some people there have incredible talent but not be recognized by management and be completely underutilized. You can expect to have your office moved frequently and when you try to get feedback from the CEO or middle managers to make sure you are doing your job right, you will not get it. But if the CEO doesn't like what you are doing, he has no issue screaming at you and humiliating you in front of your colleagues. Like the other reviewer said, he has a very authoritarian and demovitational style, which shows how poor his leadership skills are. It doesn't take much for the CEO to lose faith in you, and when he does you can never earn it back. Sales is the worst department to work in. Turnover is very high and reps are frequently subject to being yelled at without cause or for circumstances beyond their control. Some reps work hard and are helpful, while others are not held accountable or responsible for completing the full scope of their job. Instead of being held to the same standards as others, other team members are expected to jump in and pick up the slack and if they don't, they are blamed for the other rep's failures - all the while trying to get their own job done so the CEO doesn't yell at them. Those double standards lower morale and contrinute to the failure of the department."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Quit thinking that you will get rich."
