"Nothing. We hire the best people in the world to work here - when they could be making 4x at Google."

"Support furthering education more. I feel like the tuition reimbursement plan is a little slight."

"The hours at this company is very flexible. As long as we have 8 hours a day is good enough."

"The opportunity for growth. I became an industry expert with challenging new projects and opportunities. I had the chance to travel the globe helping people improve their energy foot-print."

"The company has filed for complete bankruptcy. This question is not applicable."

"Bankruptcy. I didn't like the times leading to the end. We had spent several years downsizing."

"Ours was a market failure, not a product/sales failure. We were not the only solar manufacture to fail."

"This company is closing its business, but I would ask if the projects would have documentation specs prior to their start."

"Management is not organized, work was done without specification documents."

"More method and organization would improve work done by employees, and would avoid confusion later."

"role is too technical and I do not feel like I have much purpose."

"I get to play ping pong almost everyday. They support eating and living healthy."

"They are a huge corporation that influences the information children are taught all over the world."

"It is a cube farm. Grey cubes as far as the eye can see. I am not allowed to have plants, a desk lamp, and I never get to look out any windows."

"Uncertainty, feel insecure, no training, not having clear direction of work."

"The recognition of work, communication, training, documentation and well-defined process. Very dependent and susceptible to a single company."

"They openly facilitate transfers within the company. There is plenty of room for advancement."

"Show excitement for the job if that's what you are looking for. The pay/bonus can be good, but the environment is very old mainframe corporation feeling."

"There is a lot of resistance to change. There is also a lot of dead weight/people who aren't qualified for their jobs."

"Cut way back on dead weight. There are way too many levels of hierarchy."

"Worldwide experience, great atmosphere and high-tech company. Good place to be if you want a life-long job."

"This is a company with a great atmosphere, if you are looking for a nice engineering company, this is your place."

"Not many chances to keep growing. It is an R&D section of the company whith young bosses and stuck in its good position... No risk, no glory."

"Friendly atmosphere. Make sure all your employees are happy with a long-term growing plan."

"The people I worked for were very nice and dedicated to their jobs."

"The work they do there is important, but they are low budget and your work environment and compensation will reflect that."
What don't you like about working at Empirical Education?
"They're a small company with limited funding so we were given old, outdated equipment and we only got to use free versions of most software and salaries were far below average."

"I think they did a good job for a small company. I did enjoy my time their, but unfortunately in small companies, when funding gets cut, people like me get laid off."

"Politics, the same with most companies. But as a soldier, you just follow your orders."

"Be open to taking on many different action items - a small company means wearing many hats, which can be very rewarding"

"Instability in sales growth; lack of internal communication - needs more direct interaction with management"

"I liked it very much int he beginning. The work was always interesting and always changing. This let me learn a lot and never get bored."

"Don't. Seriously, don't go there. They used to be a great company with thier eyes cast wide and moving forward. Now they are have put all their eggs into one basket and the basket is being crushed. The company is just too unstable to recommend."
What don't you like about working at McKinstry?
"LAID OFF! The company is focusing everything on the energy sector and literally dumping huge pile of money into (ironically) unsustainable solutions and processes."

"When will the energy division every pay for itself This division has a tremendous amount of overheard will very little return. The decision making and infighting within that division is deplorable and barbaric. How can you not see that is is tear the company apart"

"Management, company culture. Compensation is good, leave you a lot of room for you to do your job."

"Not sure about other position, but to be an AE, you have to like to deal with people more than dealing with technical problems."

"Do not like being in support role, to much administrative work."
