"The location was pretty nice, as was the parking. Mostly the tiny things that made it."
What don't you like about working at IBM?
"The people, the bosses, the pay, lacking bathroom facilities, wondering how some people got hired."

"The original work, with Data General (bought out by EMC) was great"

"That was the end of the .com era - things might have changed a lot since then."
What don't you like about working at EMC?
"The culture is more like working for predators than professionals; it didn't hit me as I was working for a contract / staffing firm, but I saw EMC treat some of its employees in ways I didn't think highly of, and I'd like to think I was an impartial witness."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Be a more people-oriented business if you expect to get enthusiastic people."
